ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อธิภัทร มุทิตาเจริญ
I am a Professor of Economics at Chulalongkorn University specializing in fiscal policy, taxation, and public finance. My work focuses on how tax and spending policies shape household behavior, firm decisions, and long-term fiscal sustainability, particularly in emerging and developing economies. I work closely with public agencies and international organizations—including Thailand’s Ministry of Finance, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, and UNESCAP—on issues such as carbon taxation, global minimum tax implementation, and tax reform. Previously, I served as an economist at the U.S. Congressional Budget Office in Washington, DC, and as a senior economist at Siam Commercial Bank. My research has been published in international academic journals, and I was selected as a 2026 Global Eisenhower Fellow. My work is motivated by a broader interest in strengthening fiscal accountability, by helping ensure that fiscal policy decisions are informed by evidence, institutional realities, and long-term sustainability.
